"Nobody ever outgrows Scripture; the book widens and deepens with our years."

Charles Spurgeon

Over the past century and a half, Charles Spurgeon's gift of exposition has been an encouragement and example to millions in how to seek the God of the Bible.

Though we have with us thousands of his sermons, Charles Spurgeon showed us that, ultimately, it is only Jesus who gives life. I hope this collection of sermons points you to Jesus Christ as much as it has done for me.

There are two ways to find a particular sermon: the Sermon List and the Scripture Index, both of which are linked to on the right.

To get started reading, you can go to either page and follow the links until you reach the sermon you're looking for.

The tcs.sc domain is being retired!

I’ve found that it’s not necessarily clear what it stands for and I’d like to consolidate this site with some other projects that I’m working on, so from now on, you can find this collection of Charles Spurgeon sermons at http://thekingdomcollective.com/spurgeon/.

I hope the change is not too much of an inconvenience and As always, feel free to contact me with any suggestions, comments or questions!

New Design, New Features, New Sermons

Posted on April 7, 2013 by Benry Yip.

I finally got around to pushing out a new design based off of Skeleton. I also got the chance to fix the mobile layout, so it should be a lot easier to use on your phone or tablet. Lastly, I added a real scripture index! You can now jump to any book in the Scripture Index and sermons are sorted by chapter and verse.

And along with all those feature updates, I added a few hundred more sermons!

I’ll continue working on some new things and I’m excited to be getting some features that I’ve been wanting to finish pushed out. Stay tuned, folks.

As always, feel free to contact me. I’d love to hear from you.

A Few Server Issues

Posted on March 29, 2012 by Benry Yip.

If you haven’t been able to reach this site, there’s a good chance that whatever nameserver you’re using hasn’t gotten updates with some changes that I’ve made with the domain name. Hopefully, in the next few hours, this will get all sorted out and you should be able to continue to use the site with no hiccups. As always, feel free to send me a note if you run into any issues.

One thing that I have noticed is that the responsive layout for mobile devices (read: iPhones) is not very friendly. I’ll be working on that, along with the various misspellings of everything (my PDF parse script doesn’t spell check what it extracts), and will hopefully have that all sorted out in the next week!

New Content!

I’ve added some new copy to the About page that describes what this site is all about. There’s also new information on submitting errors and mistakes that can be found on the Contact page.

On top of that, I’ve fixed the sorting of books in the Scripture Index and added a table of contents for quick navigation.

I’m working on a few usability features and can’t wait to get those out soon!

Since I'm Only Human...

there’s bound to be a few mistakes here and there.

Over the past day, I’ve found a few bugs in my parsing code that don’t account for multi-line header sections, multiple sermon numbers and a few mismatches in my regexes.

If you happen to run into any glaring (or staring or creeping or peeping) errors in the course of your readings, feel free to send me a note. You can find my information on the Contact page and I’ll be happy to take a look into it!

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding and together, we can hopefully make this the highest quality repository of Charles Spurgeon sermons online.
